Made with the perfect combination of sweet and spice, the Royal Maple Herbal Latte is a naturally caffeine free brew that is perfectly cozy anytime of day. Featured at our tea bar this month, you can stop by and enjoy it hot or iced. The weather hasn’t quite committed fully to fall and we don’t really know if we are going to finally get that first hard frost, or another 85F day!
Making a Royal Maple Herbal Latte at Home
Ingredients
- 1T. (8g) Royal Pomander Tisane
- 1T. Maple Syrup
- 8oz Boiling water
- 8oz Milk of your choice (we offer Oat, Almond, or local Dairy Milks at the Tea Bar)
Materials
- Kettle
- Milk frother
- Mason Jar
- In Cup Infuser + Mug, Tea Pot, or Small French Press.
Directions
- Bring your water up to the boil in the kettle.
- Put the infuser in your mug, then the tea in the infuser.
- Pour the boiling water into the mug and let steep 6 minutes.
- While the Royal Pomander tea is infusing, warm up the milk on the stove in a small sauce pan or in the microwave (in a mug or mason jar).
- When the milk is just starting to steam, remove from heat and stir in the maple syrup and use the milk frother until the milk is making stiff peaks.
- Pour the infused tea into your mug (or remove the in-cup infuser) and top with the steamed maple milk foam.
And that’s it! Once you get the hang of it, just about 10 minutes or less and you have your own delicious tea latte right at home.
